Maya & Nandy, an Australian twin singing duo, started learning Michael Jackson choreography as children in their bedrooms dreaming of one day performing on the big stages around the world.

Not long after they started leaving their marks in movies such as Moulin Rouge and Son of the Mask, being part of Australian Idol, landing roles in the musical version of Disney’s The Lion King, various TV shows, commercials, music videos, fashion shows and live performances. This all while still being in Australia mind you.

But their relocation to the US made their careers explode. After living in LA for only 6 weeks they scored a singing gig alongside one of the greatest performers and musical geniuses of all time – Prince! They have not only sung with Prince on stage and on his album, but also choreographed and danced for Prince’s shows such as the record breaking 21 nights run at the O2 arena in London, the highly celebrated 2007 Super Bowl halftime show, a 6 month residency at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas and many more national and international shows and TV performance gigs. Since then they’ve also sang and danced for artists such as Rhianna, Chris Brown and Letoya Luckett to name a few…

And now after being mentored by Prince for over 2 1/2 years, taking some time off to hone in on their writing craft, developing a sound of their own and launching their first rock-pop band called Heroine December, they are ready to share their music and voices with the world. www.mayaandnandy.com
