Singer, Songwriter
As a young wild-child, Audra was rebellious, indulgent, independent, self destructive . . . Everything to the EXTREME. “I wanted to get loaded all the time; so I made a deal with God. I stay free of mind altering chemicals, I don’t lie to myself or others, I help when asked; and he allows me to live with a calm mind, body, and spirit. The upside is that I do healthy things with the same fervor that I did unhealthy things.” And live she does! Always the entertainer, Audra never fails to make an impression. One so impressed was noted futurist Ray Kurzweil who became a patron and underwrote the production of her first album, “No Disguise”, in 2005. In turn, she was his inspiration for Ramona, the cyberspace avatar heroine in his upcoming film, The Singularity Is Near. Audra has two original songs, “Victory” and “Trade Off”, slated for inclusion in the film, along with her signature cover of Grace Slick’s “White Rabbit”. This song is also set for an upcoming episode of CW’s The Reaper. Currently, Audra’s finishing work on her upcoming release, “Audra Hardt Alive”. She’s been known to say, “You DON’T have to Get High to Get Down”! You can both see and hear for yourself here.
