Born and raised in New York City, Marie has toured the world as a musician and has worked and/or performed with notables such as: B.B. King, Wyclef Jean, Lucinda Williams, Taj Mahal and Dr. John.  In 2006 she was voted one of the “Top New Independent Artists” by Performing Songwriter Magazine and has produced and performed original arrangements for film, television and Off Broadway.  She is the recipient of several corporate and national grants for her continued support of World, Roots, Blues and Independent Music and is a BMI songwriter, voting member of NARAS, attending member of the United Nations sponsored ICCC, and Co-Founder of the Mexican Children’s Education Fund, which is a private organization that brings education through arts and music to gifted children and families in Mexico.

As a Producer, Marie has been inspired by and continues to work with award winning guitar player and producer Hugh McCracken and award winning engineer and producer Dae Bennett.  Both of whom she credits with giving her their undivided support and helping to open doors for more women in the fields of music production.
